Fibroblast Cells

Suzanne Bradley

Fibroblast Cells by Suzanne Bradley "Fibroblast Cells" is a picture of 3T3 fibroblast cells taken using a microscope at 10X magnification. The cells are being grown for a Creative Inquiry Lab through Clemson University to test how low doses of radiation will affect cell growth. This could lead to investigations of the possible biomedical applications of the health benefits caused by low-dose radiation. While growing cells is an integral aspect of scientific research, the incredible detail and amount of information contained in such a tiny cell is what makes a cell culture a work of art.
